Greenlees Filter has been a long time supplier to Oshkosh Truck Corporation and its line of Heavy Duty Military Trucks. Specifically for the PLS/HET™ & HEMTT™ Trucks, Greenlees supplies the engine air cleaner, air filter element, and related parts. (See Parts list below)
On the PLS & HET Greenlees has been able to make an innovative improvement to their engine air cleaners allowing for an easier air filter change-out.
- Air Filter change-out on the PLS & HET Trucks is now Quick and Easy. NO TOOLS REQUIRED.
- The new “Clamping Ring” eliminates the need for the 12 nuts required to secure the Air Filter to the Air Cleaner housing.
- The “Clamping Ring” comes with 4 permanently attached hand knobs generously sized to fit gloved hands.
- The new "Clamping Ring" Kit can only be ordered directly from Oshkosh as OTC P/N 3567219 Tan or OTC P/N 3567220 Green. The Kit comes complete with a CARC painted "Clamping Ring", anti-seize compound for the studs, 2 replacement studs, retainers and Installation Instructions.
